The future of green jobs with Billy Knowles of the Youth Environmental Service
The Youth Environmental Service has won backing for a 'national service' for the environment. Dubbed a "green jobs guarantee" for post-secondary school-age young people, it offers the opportunity to do a year of paid environmental work, doing something positive while developing skills and building connections with other young people who are also worrying about the problems of climate change, nature degradation and biodiversity collapse.
